So, I met the one and only Janet Damita Jo Jackson!!!

If you know me then you know that my favorite entertainer is Janet Jackson. I have been a fan a long time. The first concert that I went to was hers. It was the All For You Tour. I just happened to win a contest to go to the HBO Special for All For You. Check out my three part blog about that experience.

So December 2023. Janet announced that she was going on tour and release new music. The tour is called Together Again Tour. I was so excited when I heard the announcement. I looked to see when she would be coming to North Carolina. She was coming to Charlotte on May 12, 2023 at 8:00 pm.

The ticket sales opened 12/14/2022 for all fans. Her team released a code for fans before the general public would get access. I was ready to get another chance to go to her show.

It was a Thursday at 10am that sales opened. I had my phone ready. I got in the queue and it didn’t take long for me to get access to tickets. I was looking at all the available choices and saw that seats close to the stage were available. I always wanted to see her up close because the last time I saw her I was way in the back.

I was like this might be the last time that she tours so I need to take advantage of this opportunity.

I picked my seat on the third row in the center. I clicked on the details and it said VIP Meet and Greet Experience. I read through the details and I was like I’m going to meet JANET JACKSON!! I text my mom and told my friends. I was like wow. finally a dream come true.
